Abstract

We present the explicit form of the Regge trajectory relations for the doubly heavy baryons ΞQQ\Xi_{QQ'} and ΩQQ\Omega_{QQ'} (Q,Q=b,c)(Q,Q'=b,c) in the diquark picture. Using the derived Regge trajectory relations, we estimate the masses of the λ\lambda-excited states and the ρ\rho-excited states, which are consistent with other theoretical predictions. Both the λ\lambda-trajectories and ρ\rho-trajectories are discussed. We show that the ρ\rho-trajectories behave differently from the λ\lambda-trajectories. Specifically, the ρ\rho-trajectories behave as Mxρ2/3M{\sim}x_{\rho}^{2/3} (xρ=nr,l)(x_{\rho}=n_r,l), whereas the λ\lambda-trajectories follow Mxλ1/2M{\sim}x_{\lambda}^{1/2} (xλ=Nr,L)(x_{\lambda}=N_r,L). By using the obtained relations, the baryon Regge trajectory provides a straightforward and easy method for estimating the spectra of both the λ\lambda-excited states and ρ\rho-excited states.
