$L^\infty$ bounds for numerical solutions of noncoercive convection-diffusion equations

Abstract

In this work, we apply an iterative energy method \`a la de Giorgi in order to establish LL^{\infty} bounds for numerical solutions of noncoercive convection-diffusion equations with mixed Dirichlet-Neumann boundary conditions.
