$K\bar{K}$ Threshold Phenomena, $f_0-a_0$ Interference and Kaonium Production

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology 2007-05-23 v1

Abstract

We develop a new formalism to study KKˉK\bar{K} threshold phenomena with resonances f0f_0, a0a_0 and K+KK^+K^- atom (kaonium) included. The approach provides two possible scenarios for f0a0f_0-a_0 mixing. Drastic interference patterns can be observed in K+KK^+K^-electroproduction at CEBAF, pd 3HeXpd\to ~^3HeX reaction, and NNˉN\bar N annihilation.
