Interference phenomena in radiation of a charged particle moving in a system with one-dimensional randomness

Abstract

The contribution of interference effects to the radiation of a charged particle moving in a medium of randomly spaced plates is considered. In the angular dependent radiation intensity a peak appears at angles θπγ1\theta\sim\pi-\gamma^{-1}, where γ\gamma is the Lorentz factor of the charged particle.
