$I$-prime ideals

Commutative Algebra 2017-01-24 v1

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a new generalization of weakly prime ideals called II-prime. Suppose RR is a commutative ring with identity and II a fixed ideal of RR. A proper ideal PP of RR is II-prime if for a,bRa, b \in R with abPIPab \in P-IP implies either aPa \in P or bPb \in P. We give some characterizations of II-prime ideals and study some of its properties. Moreover, we give conditions under which II-prime ideals becomes prime or weakly prime and we construct the view of II-prime ideal in decomposite rings.
