Hopf Algebras of Dimension $pq$

Abstract

Let HH be a non-semisimple Hopf algebra with antipode SS of dimension pqpq over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 where pqp \le q are odd primes. We prove that \Tr(S2p)=p2d\Tr(S^{2p})=p^2d where dpq(mod4)d \equiv pq \pmod{4}. As a consequence, if p,qp,q are twin primes, then any Hopf algebra of dimension pqpq is semisimple.
