Holographic Line Defects in $D=4$, $N=2$ Gauged Supergravity

Abstract

We construct solutions of four-dimensional N=2N=2 gauged supergravity coupled to vector multiplets which are holographically dual to superconformal line defects. For the gauged STU and the SU(1,n)/U(1)×SU(n)SU(1,n)/U(1)\times SU(n) coset models, we use the solutions to calculate holographic observables such as the expectation value of the defect and one-point functions in the presence of the defect.
