High-redshift Mini-haloes from Modulated Preheating

Cosmology and Nongalactic Astrophysics 2019-06-05 v2 General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology High Energy Physics - Phenomenology

Abstract

Intermittent type of primordial non-Gaussian fluctuations from modulated preheating can produce an overabundance of 108M\sim 10^8M_\odot mini-haloes at high redshift z20z\gtrsim 20. This may have a significant impact on the formation of high-redshift supermassive black holes.
