Abstract
The azimuthal correlations of direct photons () with high transverse momentum (), produced at mid-rapidity () in Au+Au collisions at center-of-mass energy ~GeV, are measured and compared to those of neutral pions () in the same kinematic range. The measured azimuthal elliptic anisotropy of direct photon, , at high (~GeV/) is found to be smaller than that of and consistent with zero when using the forward detectors () in reconstructing the event plane. The associated charged hadron spectra recoiled from show more suppression than those recoiled from in the new measured kinematic range ~GeV/ and ~GeV/.
