Higgs Phenomenology: a short review
High Energy Physics - Phenomenology
2011-04-15 v1
Abstract
I briefly review the Higgs sector in the Standard Model and in its minimal supersymmetric extension. After summarizing the properties of the Higgs bosons, I will discuss the prospects for discovering these particles at the present colliders LEP2 and Tevatron, and at the next generation colliders LHC and a high--energy linear collider. The possibilities of studying the properties of the Higgs bosons will be then summarized. [Short write-up of lectures given at the XXXVI Cracow School of Theoretical Physics, June 1996.]
