Hidden Thresholds: Reconstructing NP Masses
High Energy Physics - Phenomenology
2008-09-26 v1
Abstract
The Hidden Thresholds technique reconstructs New Physics (NP) masses from two or more simultaneous NP decays at a hadron collider. We show how this works in several MSSM examples: χi0χj0→e+e−μ+μ−χ10χ10 (i,j=2,3,4) and χ1±χ20→W±∗(→ℓ±ν)χ10 Z0∗(→ℓ±ℓ∓)χ10.
