Heavy-quark exotics

Abstract

The heavy quarks cc and bb stabilize exotic meson (qqqˉqˉ)(qq\bar q \bar q) and baryon (qqqqqˉ)(qqqq \bar q) states. We discuss work with M. Karliner on molecules containing ccˉc \bar c and bbˉb \bar b; the first doubly charmed baryon; isospin splittings; Ξcc+=ccd\Xi_{cc}^+ = ccd and Ωcc=ccs\Omega_{cc} = ccs masses; lifetimes; tetraquarks stable under strong and electromagnetic decay; excited Ωc\Omega_{c} states; and P-wave excitation energies.
