Groups in which some primary subgroups are weakly s-supplemented?

Group Theory 2013-06-13 v1

Abstract

A subgroup HH of a group GG is called weakly s-supplemented in GG if there is a subgroup TT such that G=HTG=HT and HTHsGH\cap T\le H_{sG}, where HsGH_{sG} is the subgroup of HH generated by all those subgroups of HH which are s-permutable in GG. The influence of primary weakly s-supplemented subgroups on the structure of finite groups is investigated. An open question promoted by Skiba is studied and some known results are generalized.
