Groebner-Shirshov bases for extensions of algebras

Abstract

An algebra R\cal{R} is called an extension of the algebra MM by BB if M2=0M^2=0, MM is an ideal of R\cal{R} and R\cal{R}/MB/M\cong B as algebras. In this paper, by using the Gr\"{o}bner-Shirshov bases, we characterize completely the extensions of MM by BB. An algorithm to find the conditions of an algebra AA to be an extension of MM by BB is obtained.
