Fundamental pushouts of n-complicial sets

Abstract

The paper focuses on investigating how certain relations between strict nn-categories are preserved in a particular implementation of (,n)(\infty,n)-categories, given by saturated nn-complicial sets. In this model, we show that the (,n)(\infty,n)-categorical nerve of nn-categories is homotopically compatible with 11-categorical suspension and wedge. As an application, we show that certain pushouts encoding composition in nn-categories are homotopy pushouts of saturated nn-complicial sets.
