Finite Range Model Interaction Potential for d-wave Superconductors: Tc vs. Doping in the Cuprates

Superconductivity 2009-10-31 v1

Abstract

We study a simple BCS-like model which describes unconventional superconductivity on the basis of an electron-electron attraction corresponding to the delta-shell potential: U(r)=gδ(rr0)U(r) = -g \delta(r-r_0). It predicts a TcT_c vs. doping behavior similar to that characteristic of the High-TcT_c cuprates.
