Fano varieties and linear sections of hypersurfaces

Abstract
Under a hypothesis on , and that is almost the best possible, we prove that for every smooth degree hypersurface in , the -plane sections dominate the moduli space of degree hypersurface in . Using this we prove rational simple connectedness of every smooth degree hypersurface in , under a suitable hypothesis on and (previous results were only for general hypersurfaces).
