Extending BMO functions in parabolic setting

Analysis of PDEs 2025-07-15 v1

Abstract

We prove that one can extend any BMOxBMO^{x} function aa given in a cube in Rd+1\mathbb{R}^{d+1} to become a BMOxBMO^{x} functions a^\hat a in Rd+1\mathbb{R}^{d+1} almost preserving its [a][a]^{\sharp} seminorm, which is, loosely speaking, LL_{\infty}-norm of the maximal function in tt and BMOBMO-norm in xx.
