Explicit Kummer Theory for Elliptic Curves

Abstract
Let be an elliptic curve defined over a number field , let be a point of infinite order, and let be the set of -division points of in . We prove strong effective and uniform results for the degrees of the Kummer extensions . When , and under a minimal assumption on , we show that the inequality holds with a constant independent of both and .
