Equidistribution of graphs of holomorphic correspondences

Abstract

Let XX be a compact Riemann surface. Let ff be a holomorphic self-correspondence of XX with dynamical degrees d1d_1 and d2d_2. Assume that d1d2d_1\neq d_2 or ff is non-weakly modular. We show that the graphs of the iterates fnf^n of ff are equidistributed exponentially fast with respect to a positive closed current in X×XX\times X.
