Equicontinuity of maps on dendrites

Abstract

Given a dendrite XX and a continuous map f ⁣:XXf\colon X\to X, we show the following are equivalent: (i) ωf\omega_f is continuous and Per(f)=nNfn(X)\overline{\mathrm{Per}(f)}=\bigcap_{n\in\mathbb{N}}f^n(X); (ii) ω(x,f)=Ω(x,f)\omega(x,f)=\Omega(x,f) for each xXx\in X; and (iii) ff is equicontinuous. Furthermore, we present some examples illustrating our results.
