Electromagnetic Form Factors of Meson Transitions

Abstract

Within the Dyson-Schwinger equation approach to modeling QCD for meson physics, we present new results for gρππg_{\rho\pi\pi} and the coupling constants and form factors for the transitions γπρ\gamma^\ast \pi \rho and γπ0γ\gamma^\ast \pi^0 \gamma. We discuss the role of the sub-dominant covariants of the π\pi Bethe-Salpeter amplitude and investigate the asymptotic behavior of the γπ0γ\gamma^\ast \pi^0 \gamma form factor.
