Efficient quasi-phase-matched frequency conversion in a lithium niobate racetrack microresonator

Abstract

We demonstrate efficient second harmonic generation in a quasi-phase-matched, high quality factor (Q05.3×105Q_0 \approx 5.3\times 10^5) racetrack microresonator. The observed normalized conversion efficiency is about 3.8% mW13.8\%~mW^{-1}.
