Determinant of a Sum of Certain Kronecker Products

Abstract

We compute the determinant of n=1NA(n)B(n)\sum_{n=1}^{N} \vec{A}^{(n)} \otimes \vec{B}^{(n)}, where A(n)\vec{A}^{(n)} is square and B(n)=x(n)y(n)T{\vec{B}^{(n)}=\vec{x}^{(n)}{\vec{y}^{(n)}}^T} where x(n)\vec{x}^{(n)} and y(n)\vec{y}^{(n)} have length NN.
