Defect relation for non-Archimedean analytic maps into arbitrary projective varieties

Abstract

If ff is a non-Archimedean analytic curve in a projective variety XX embedded in PNP^N and if D1,,DqD_1,\dots,D_q are hypersurfaces of PNP^N in general position with X,X, then we prove the defect relation: j=1qδ(f,Dj)dimX. \sum_{j=1}^q \delta(f,D_j) \le \dim X.
