Critical index of Anderson transition in 3D systems

Abstract
Anderson transition in three-dimensional systems is investigated using renormalization group theory. -function of a very simple form is derived from a self-consistent consideration, and it gives a value for the critical index of the transition, which is very close to those obtained by numerical studies.
