Conformal equivalence of analytic functions on compact sets

Abstract

In this paper we present a geometric proof of the following fact. Let DD be a Jordan domain in C\mathbb{C}, and let ff be analytic on cl(D)cl(D). Then there is an injective analytic map ϕ:DC\phi:D\to\mathbb{C}, and a polynomial pp, such that fpϕf\equiv p\circ\phi on DD (that is, ff has a polynomial conformal model pp).
