Conformal Cosmology and Supernova Data

General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology 2007-05-23 v1

Abstract

We define the cosmological parameters Hc,0H_{c,0}, Ωm,c\Omega_{m,c} and ΩΛ,c\Omega_{\Lambda, c} within the Conformal Cosmology as obtained by the homogeneous approximation to the conformal-invariant generalization of Einstein's General Relativity theory. We present the definitions of the age of the universe and of the luminosity distance in the context of this approach. A possible explanation of the recent data from distant supernovae Ia without a cosmological constant is presented.
