Condensed state of heavy vectorlike neutrinos
Abstract
Some extensions of the Standard Model suggest existence of vectorlike fermions whose mass can be by up to several orders of magnitude larger than the electroweak scale , and with the Higgs mechanism providing only a small part of this mass that is a fraction of . It is shown that in a certain range of the parameters and there exist stable globules of degenerate fermionic matter made from the lighter of the neutral vectorlike leptons (superheavy neutrinos) with a number density much larger than , with being the Higgs boson mass. The stability is due to the deformation of the Higgs field inside the globule to values greatly exceeding . The globules are absolutely stable if the lighter of the vectorlike neutrinos is stable and can be (a part of) the dark matter.
