Compositions of $n$-homomorphisms

Rings and Algebras 2026-04-16 v1 Combinatorics

Abstract

We study nn-homomorphisms in the sense of Khudaverdian--Voronov, but generalized to maps from arbitrary rings to arbitrary commutative rings. We show that the sum of an nn-homomorphism and an mm-homomorphism is an (n+m)\left( n+m\right) -homomorphism, and that the composition of an nn-homomorphism and an mm-homomorphism is an nmnm-homomorphism. The proofs are entirely combinatorial.
