Componentwise linear ideals and exchange properties

Abstract
We prove the componentwise linearity of ideals that satisfy a certain exchange property similar to polymatroidal ideals. We also discuss the componentwise linearity and exchange properties of ideals of -covers of totally balanced weighted hypergraphs.
