Comment on "Work Fluctuations for a Harmonically Confined Active Ornstein-Uhlenbeck Particle"

Abstract

We argue that the results presented by M. Semeraro et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 131, 158302 (2023)] for the work fluctuations of an active Ornstein-Uhlenbeck particle trapped in a harmonic potential are incomplete and partly inexact due to the possible divergence of the generating function at a finite time

Comments

Withdrawn due a flaw in the argument, as pointed out by the authors of Ref. 1. The divergences of the generating function at finite time (which do exist) do not modify the domain of existence of the SCGF computed in Ref. 1. This will be explained in a forthcoming paper
