Abstract

I review the experimental evidence for the X(3915)X(3915), the candidate nonstandard meson associated with ωJψ\omega J\psi resonance-like peaks in BKωJψB\rightarrow K\omega J\psi and γγωJψ\gamma\gamma\rightarrow\omega J\psi near M(ωJψ)=3920M(\omega J\psi)=3920~MeV, and address the conjecture that it can be identified as the χc2\chi_{c2}^\prime, the radial excitation of the χc2\chi_{c2} charmonium state. Since the partial decay width for BKX(3915)B\rightarrow K X(3915) is at least an order-of-magnitude larger than that for BKχc2B\rightarrow K\chi_{c2}, its assignment as the χc2\chi_{c2}^\prime is dubious.
