Classifying Nakayama algebras with a braid group action on $\tau$-exceptional sequences

Representation Theory 2026-01-07 v2

Abstract

We characterise those basic and connected Nakayama algebras Λ\Lambda for which the mutation of τ\tau-exceptional sequences respects the braid group relations. We show that this is the case if and only if Λ\Lambda is hereditary or all indecomposable projective Λ\Lambda-modules have length at least Λ|\Lambda|.
