Abstract

For a natural number nn, denote by BnB_n the braid group on nn strings and by SMnSM_n the singular braid monoid on nn strings. SMnSM_n is one of the most important extensions of BnB_n. In [13], Y. Mikhalchishina classified all homogeneous 22-local representations of BnB_n for all n3n \geq 3. In this article, we extend the result of Mikhalchishina in two ways. First, we classify all homogeneous 33-local representations of BnB_n for all n4n \geq 4. Second, we classify all homogeneous 22-local representations of SMnSM_n for all n2n\geq 2 and all homogeneous 33-local representations of SMnSM_n for all n4n\geq 4.
