Chiral Symmetry, Landau Fermi Liquid And Dense Hadronic Matter

Abstract
I describe how effective chiral Lagrangian field theories work for nuclei and nuclear matter by going from the deuteron to dense hadronic matter via BR scaling and Landau Fermi-liquid fixed point parameters, with possible applications to relativistic heavy-ion processes and compact ``nuclear stars.''
