Chiral Soliton Model vs Pentaquark Structure for \Theta (1540)

Abstract
The exotic baryon Θ+ (1540 MeV)isvisualisedasanexpected(iso)rotationalexcitationintheChiralSolitonModel.ItisalsoarguedasaPentaquarkbaryonstateinaconstituentquarkmodelwithstrongdiquarkcorrelations.Icontrastthetwopointsofview;thesimilaritiesanddifferencesbetweenthetwopictures.Collectiveexcitation,characteristicofChiralSolitonModelpointstowardsmallmixingofrepresentationsinthewakeofSU(3)breaking.Incontrast,ConstituentquarkModelsprefernear‘‘ideal′′mixing,similarto\omega - \phi$ mixing.
