Change of grading, injective dimension and dualizing complexes

K-Theory and Homology 2018-02-01 v2 Rings and Algebras

Abstract

Let G,HG,H be groups, ϕ:GH\phi: G \rightarrow H a group morphism, and AA a GG-graded algebra. The morphism ϕ\phi induces an HH-grading on AA, and on any GG-graded AA-module, which thus becomes an HH-graded AA-module. Given an injective GG-graded AA-module, we give bounds for its injective dimension when seen as HH-graded AA-module. Following ideas by Van den Bergh, we give an application of our results to the stability of dualizing complexes through change of grading.
