Abstract
The beam normal spin asymmetry for the elastic scattering is studied in the leading logarithm approximation. We derive the expression for the asymmetry, which is valid for any scattering angles. The result is compared with the results of other authors, obtained for the forward kinematics. We also calculate the numerical values of the asymmetry at intermediate energy and show that they are consistent with existing experimental data.
