Number Theory 2025-08-18 v2 Algebraic Geometry Dynamical Systems

Abstract

We describe algebraic curves X:F(x,y)=0 X : F(x, y) = 0 defined over Q\overline{\mathbb{Q}} that satisfy the following property: there exist a number field kk and an infinite set SkS \subset k such that, for every ySy \in S, the roots of the polynomial F(x,y)F(x, y) belong to kk.
