A Quasi-exact Formula for Ising critical temperatures on Hypercubic Lattices

Condensed Matter 2015-06-25 v1

Abstract

We report a quasi-exact power law behavior for Ising critical temperatures on hypercubes. It reads J/kBTc=K0[(11/d)(q1)]aJ/k_BT_c=K_0[(1-1/d)(q-1)]^a where K0=0.6260356K_0=0.6260356, a=0.8633747a=0.8633747, dd is the space dimension, qq the coordination number (q=2dq=2d), JJ the coupling constant, kBk_B the Boltzman constant and TcT_c the critical temperature. Absolute errors from available exact estimates (d=2d=2 up to d=7d=7) are always less than 0.00050.0005. Extension to other lattices is discussed.
