A Note on the Superstring BRST Operator

High Energy Physics - Theory 2009-10-31 v1

Abstract

We write the BRST operator of the N=1 superstring as Q=eR(dzγ2b)eRQ= e^{-R} (\oint dz \gamma^2 b)e^R where γ\gamma and bb are super-reparameterization ghosts. This provides a trivial proof that QQ is nilpotent.
