A new problem related to Eulerian graphs

Abstract

Let GG be a graph, and HH be a finite subgraph of GG. We say that HH is a (semi) SS-Eulerian subgraph if there exists a closed (open) trail TT in GG such that each edge of HH appears in TT. We show that the problem of determining whether a subgraph HH of a finite graph GG is (semi) SS-Eulerian is NP-Complete. Moreover, we show that both versions of the problem become linear in time if we restrict ourselves to connected subgraphs HH.
