Abstract

Motivated by recent anomalous CDF data on WjjWjj events, we study a possible explanation within the framework of the two-Higgs doublet model. We find that a charged Higgs boson of mass \sim 140 GeV with appropriate couplings can account for the observed excess. In addition, we consider the flavor-changing neutral current effects induced at loop level by the charged Higgs boson on the BB meson system to further constrain the model. Our study shows that the like-sign charge asymmetry AsbA_{s\ell}^b can be of O(103){\cal O}(10^{-3}) in this scenario.
