A Lifting Theorem for Locally Convex Subspaces of Lo

Abstract

We prove that for every closed locally convex subspace EE of L0L_0 and for any continuous linear operator TT from L0L_0 to L0/EL_0/E there is a continuous linear operator SS from L0L_0 to L0L_0 such that T=QST = QS where QQ is the quotient map from L0L_0 to L0/EL_0/E.
