A graphical representation of binary linear codes

Abstract

A binary [n,k][n,k]-linear code C\mathcal{C} is a kk-dimensional subspace of F2n\mathbb{F}_2^n. For xF2n\boldsymbol{x}\in \mathbb{F}_2^n, the set x+C\boldsymbol{x}+\mathcal{C} is a coset of C\mathcal{C}. In this work we study a partial ordering on the set of cosets of a binary linear code C\mathcal{C} of length nn and we construct a graph using the orphan structure of this code.
