A breakdown of a universal hydrodynamic relation in Gauss-Bonnet gravity

Abstract

We compute the second order transport coefficients of a hydrodynamic theory with Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity dual. We show the breakdown of the universal hydrodynamic relation 2λ0+4λ1λ2=0 -2 \lambda_0 + 4 \lambda_1 - \lambda_2 = 0 for the general values of the Gauss-Bonnet coupling.
